Description: Handy Recovery™ is an easy-to-use program designed to recover files accidentally deleted from a hard drive or other media. The program can recover files damaged as a result of virus attacks, power outages and software failures, as well as files from deleted and formatted partitions. If some program does not use the Trash while deleting files, Handy Recovery can restore such files as well. She can also restore files from the Trash after cleaning it.
With Handy Recovery, you can view the contents of your disk just like you do in Explorer. The only difference is that along with the usual files and folders, you also see deleted ones. The program can search for files by name or type and show the probability of successful recovery for each file. The recovered files can be saved to any of the disks available on your system.
You can also restore the entire folder tree containing the selected files and folders. Along with the basic information of the file, the program can restore additional data streams that are used in the NTFS file system to store special information about the file.
Handy Recovery also performs image recovery from CompactFlash, SmartMedia, MultiMedia and Secure Digital memory cards. The program can recover compressed and encrypted files on disks with the NTFS file system.
