Due to the fact that Nero Wave Editor has a huge set of tools, most of them do not have their own buttons on the toolbar and access to them is through the main menu.
The Level menu provides access to the main tools for changing the volume of the audio signal. You can make it increase or decrease, as well as adjust the overall volume. An important function in this menu is the Normalize function… It allows you to adjust the volume level of the current recording in accordance with the standard and is used to ensure that the recordings when playing them one after another do not have significant differences in volume.
The Effects menu allows you to change the sound in various ways — add an echo, apply a chorus effect, etc.
The Tools menu is one of the most interesting in the program. With its help, you can change the parameters of the stereo sound of a composition or part of it, apply an equalizer to it, limiting or, conversely, amplifying the number of sounds of a certain frequency.
The Transpose function allows you to change the frequency of the sound, for example, to make a man's voice look like a woman's or a child's. Using the same menu, you can change the duration of a part of the composition or its entirety. I would like to dwell on the Karaoke function of this menu in more detail, since it is one of the most popular.
