Details about auto setup:

The installer determines one of the three main video adapters, and sets the desired Hardware Decoder profile:
Intel HD Graphics - QuickSync, for Desktop graphics processors from Intel starting with Intel HD Graphics 4000.
Nvidia — Nvidia CUVID, for NVIDIA Desktop GPUs starting with GTX 450.
AMD Radeon - DXVA2 (copy-back) - starting with Windows Vista.
All profiles in Windows XP except NVIDIA will be set to None.
Also during installation, the player will be optimized with respect to system performance.

Tips for configuring the NVIDIA driver for the best video quality

-Go to the NVIDIA control panel
-Click adjust the color parameters for the video
-Switch the player settings mode to settings from NVIDIA
-In the color tab, you can adjust the contrast and chroma (not recommended)
-in the advanced tab, select the limited (16-255) full (0-255) in place, in the same tab, check the boxes opposite dynamic contrast improvement and color improvement
-Again, in the left column of the control panel, click adjust the parameters of the image for the video
-underline the contours, switch to NVIDIA and move the slider by 5%, we do the same with interference suppression, set 5%. The check mark opposite to use reverse telekinoprojection should stand, if not, then put it.

How to enable SVP:

To enable SVP in my build, you need to use the menu I made for the km player, you can open it by running the file Menu.exe which is located in the player folder. You can also use the start program-The KMPlayer folder-the Menu KMP shortcut.
SVP can be easily turned on and off without changing the KM settings. Also, if you already have SVP (for example, version 4) in the system, then it will not affect the SVP module built into the assembly in any way.

In the player version 4.0.5.3, support for all audio codecs has been fully restored, both in the player and in LAV filters.

The KM audio codecs have been updated to the latest.

Recommendations

-For the audio stream output option to work via OpenAL, you need to install OpenAL.
-For SVP4 to work, install Microsoft Visual C++ 2005-2008-2010-2012-2013-2017 Redistributable!
-Very often Kaspersky anti-virus interferes with the player, causes the player to freeze, or extremely slow operation. It is necessary to add the player folder to the check exceptions.

How to play a DVD:

Starting from the player version 4.0.1.5, VIDEO_TS files.IFO is not played with a simple click. Now you need to from the player menu, namely by pressing Ctrl+V and in the window that opens, find the desired VIDEO_TS.IFO file, or through open a DVD file. And if you need to play from the DVDROM device, then Ctrl +D or open the DVD.
